Tonight is our last night in Milano, it has been fabulouso. Could not have asked for better family or fun. I am just going to upload some pictures, and later tonight Jon is going to write up a blog because I have written the other ones. We will get a Jon perspective, but for now, here are some pics!
Love you all!
This is what you see when you come up from the Metro.... the AMAZING DUOMO!! Breathtaking
This is me riding bikes with Giovanni and Jon in downtown Milan! That is the way to see Milan!!! SO FUN!
This is a photo of Giovanni (Jons cousin), Zio Michele (Jons uncle, Vincenzos brother), Jon, and second cousin, Michele.
This Valentina (Our first Italian Teacher in Nanaimo) and her boyfriend Guido... yes Guido, just like Jersey Shores, haha. We went to a delicious pizza joint! I LOVE PIZZA!
This is Jons sweet sweet uncle and aunt Zio Michele (Vincenzos bro) and Zia Giovinna. These two are FULL of life!
We have been taking pics of ALL of our meals, but I will spare you and only show one. The one on the right looks like cut up hot dog but Jon informs me it is NOT HOT DOG, haha.
and here we are just in case you forgot what we looked like.
Cheers to you! Or as they say in Italia... Chin Chin! or maybe it is Chi Chi! haha not sure.
LOVE the pictures!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!! Not hot dogs?! Come on?! If it looks like a hot dog... it's probably a hot dog... (dig, dig).
ReplyDeleteGood work on the biking around Milan.
Biking on cobbles stones + staying alive = not all that easy!
That said, said bikes are just a great way to be a tourist. So many long slow walks avoided! :)
Keep up the blogging I like reading about your adventures!!
Ciao Jon & Heather!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures looks wonderful, and you two seem to be having an amazing time! It's great to see you two relaxing and taking it all in.
We miss you here, but we can manage a little bit more ... as long as keep the photos coming!!! :) xoxo
